Multiple benefits of chess are known to help children's academic performance as well as their personal development. Our mission is to promote and popularize CHESS — an intelligent sport — to the younger generations.
We aim to introduce CHESS to schools to enrich students' co-curricular learning. Our goal at school is to grow along with their learning and personal development!

Bringing Chess Beyond the Classroom on Under-8 day at WRSS
At Queensland Chess School, we believe learning doesn't stop when lessons end.
We enjoy working alongside schools to create engaging chess experiences that bring students, teachers and families together. Whether through classroom activities, outdoor giant chess or community celebrations, our goal is to make chess accessible, enjoyable and memorable for every child.
School community events provide the perfect opportunity for children to explore chess in a relaxed and welcoming environment while building confidence, friendships and a lifelong love of learning.
Community Engagement
Chess Bringing the Community Together at Warrigala 2026
One of our favourite examples of community engagement was our participation in Warrigala 2026 at Warrigal Road State School.
Throughout the day, giant outdoor chess, friendly games and interactive activities brought together students, teachers and families in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
It was a wonderful reminder that chess is more than a game — it creates conversations, friendships and meaningful connections across the whole school community.
